Yeah, it's still worth it but if you liked the open world style of the original one, you could be a bit disappointed.
Enemies spawning everywhere, kill those enemies, reach the boss, kill the boss, done. No open world, you have a pattern, and it's more like the old FPS style. However, i also play the Apocalypse Weekend DLC and it's completely different.

It's amazing how such an old game is so full of things to see and to do. If you want to enjoy the game, i recommend the second one. You can play this game 2 different ways: running straight to the objective only killing people you need, or taking it as an open world where you can buy things, talk to people, trying 15 different ways of killing people.
